![]() ![]() Koinzhang has created a Raycast extension for Bunch. ![]() Jay Miller has created an Alfred action for use with Bunch. See “Better Bunch for LaunchBar” for the latest changes to the Action. If you bring up the Bunches action and press Space, you can type or paste raw Bunch commands to be executed. The menu also contains the ability to switch your opening preference between “Open” and “Toggle.” This will affect your Bunch preferences directly. Holding modifier keys when opening the action changes the default methods for that run: If you hold down the modifier key too long, it will not trigger. Each Bunch in the menu will also have a submenu you can access by pressing the right arrow which contains the actions (open, close, toggle) that aren’t the default action. Modifier Taps can be turned on in the Keyboard Shortcuts pane of LaunchBar Preferences. If you have “Toggle Bunches” enabled, selecting a Bunch from the list will toggle it (quitting apps if it’s already been opened), otherwise it will simply open the Bunch. As you type the name of an app Albert will show matching suggestions in real time. Selecting the Bunch action in LaunchBar and pressing return will list your available Bunches. When you need it you press ctrl + space andet voilait’s there instantly, awaiting your keystrokes. You can adjust in the Preferences pane but mine is OPTION+CMD+. Fixed: When sending a file to a folder via Send To (by pressing the Tab key), the list of available file operations didn’t recognize the numeric keyboard shortcuts 1-6. Outside the browser you can use 1Password mini too, but the shortcut is different. Fixed: Dragging files onto a folder that’s selected in LaunchBar didn’t work (the list of available file operations wasn’t shown, the LaunchBar window just disappeared). You’ll notice that the menubar app of 1Password (called 1Password mini) gets activated. Download, unzip it, then double click the unzipped action to install. Once you have it installed, you can use keyboard shortcut CMD+ to activate it within the browser. ![]() You can also create integrations with Keyboard Maestro or BetterTouchTool to fit other workflows.ĭownload the Bunches Action for LaunchBar There are existing options for doing so with LaunchBar, Alfred, and Raycast. You should therefore choose a different shortcut either in the Spotlight pane of System Preferences or in the Keyboard Shortcuts pane of LaunchBar Preferences.Despite Bunch having plenty of its own keyboard shortcuts, you may want to integrate with your favorite launcher. The Command-Space shortcut conflicts with the OS X default shortcut for the Spotlight menu. Unfortunately the Command-Space shortcut may conflict with other applications that also use this convenient shortcut by default. Now go to Update & security -> Troubleshoot page. And once you’ve got used to LaunchBar, you will probably invoke this shortcut very often, therefore convenient access is an important consideration. Open Settings from Start Menu or press WIN+I keys together to directly launch Settings app. Command-Space conflicts with other applicationsĬommand-Space is by far the most conveniently accessible shortcut. ![]() If you press and hold the “Search in LaunchBar” shortcut for a short moment you can trigger Instant Send in order to send text or files that are selected in other applications to LaunchBar. Pressing the “Search in LaunchBar” keyboard shortcut repeatedly (with the modifier key kept pressed) allows you to quickly switch between running applications. It aborts any pending text input, abbreviation search, sub-search or send-to operation. Pressing this shortcut not only activates LaunchBar, but also reliably resets LaunchBar to an initial state for starting a new abbreviation search. There seems to be a conflict with a windows internal shortcut that changes keyboard layouts. In this documentation “Command-Space” is used as a synonym for the activation shortcut, despite the fact that you can choose a different shortcut in the Keyboard Shortcuts pane of LaunchBar Preferences. ![]()
